Halloween Date Ideas

That oh-so-spooky holiday known as Halloween is coming up this month. Whether you’re currently dating someone, or have your eye on a special person, here are some perfect festive date ideas you can use all month long.
1. Carve Pumpkins
Go to one of your local pumpkin patches, pick out a pumpkin or two and bring them home to carve. To make it more interesting and creative, look up some pre-made stencils online.
2. Visit One Of Your Local Haunted Houses
These are especially fun if you get an adrenaline rush from being spooked and if you like cuddling up to your sweetie. These haunted houses vary in scariness and you can usually find their ratings online. Click here for more information about haunted houses in the Denver area.
3. Watch A Scary Movie
Rent one (or more) on Netflix or iTunes to watch in the monster-free comfort of your basement. If you’d rather go out, search for the scary movies showing in a theater near you.
4. Go On A Haunted Bus Tour of Your Town
No, it’s not a haunted bus, but rather a bus tour of the haunted spots in your town. It’s a great way to get spooked while learning a little more about where you live. FYI: these tours sell out fast, so make sure to buy your tickets far ahead of time.
5. Venture Through a Haunted Corn Maze
Similar to a haunted house, but with the added challenge of having to find your way out…alive.
6. Go Costume Shopping
If you plan on going to a costume party, trick-or-treating or out to the bars this Halloween, why not make a date out of shopping for the perfect costume? You can pick out matching outfits or go for something different. Make it fun by trying on some ridiculous costumes together.
7. Go To Your Local Amusement Park’s Fright Fest
Check out the nearest amusement parks to experience various Halloween-oriented events with your partner, happening every weekend through October 27th. Click here for more information.
8. Go On A Ghost & History Tour Of The Stanley Hotel
This is a perfect date if you and your partner are fans of The Shining. The movie was filmed in the hotel and if you live in, or plan on visiting Colorado, it’s a great halloween date idea. If you don’t happen to live in Colorado or plan on visiting any time soon, check out if any of the hotels in your area are holding ghost tours.
