Why-Men-Should-Always-Date-Feminists

I know some of you may be rolling your eyes and thinking to yourselves “Oh great. Just what I need: another angry, man-hating rant about women’s rights” and if that’s the case, you’ve got it all wrong (and need to look up the proper definition of feminism)! Many men are afraid of dating women who call themselves feminists because they worry they won’t be able to keep their significant other happy enough to not lose their genitals. But in reality, feminists are the best kind of women to date! Here’s why:

We don’t constantly bash other women.

You might have some very attractive female friends and although we still might be a tad jealous, we are not in constant competition because feminists believe in helping other women. If anything, we will make friends with your female acquaintances. Then the only thing you’ll have to worry about is us joining forces and talking about you behind your back, saying mostly good things, of course!

We want to be your equal.

Yes, we still enjoy receiving flowers and like it when you hold the door open for us (and I will never say no to a free meal), but we also know that we are not to be treated like dainty little princesses. Feminists are strong, independent and open minded, so you won’t have to protect us all the time. Unless we are chained up to a wall by a fire breathing ninja-dragon or something.

We share the same passion as you: women!

As a straight man, you love women. You love the way we look, the way we smell, the way we dress and flirt to impress you. If you don’t support women and their rights, you will have no women interested enough to even be in the same room as you. So think before you reject the idea of feminism. As they say: you scratch a feminist’s back and she will make you the happiest man on Earth.
