Have you ever just been looking around and seen someone laughing and smiling at their phone? The jig is up. They’re been looking at Tinder all along. Tinder, catching as fast as the name would imply.

First off, a little how to: Simply download the app, link to your Facebook and get started! Tinder makes it so easy! Matches will simply pop up on your phone screen, slide left for ‘no’ (to pass) or right for ‘yes.’ If one of your likes likes you back, you can start chatting. Here’s the good part… you only know who likes you if you like them back. And you get to base your decision off a few pictures, shared friends and interests (if they exist).

Best for:

Quick hookups: Tinder shows you the exact mileage from you to the person you are chatting with or possibly ‘liking’… could make a little late night action very easy. Even if you don’t plan on meeting up it’s a good reminder there are lots of singles in your area.

Quality entertainment: I had no idea how much fun it would be to as they say ‘play’ on Tinder. Who knows you might meet someone new, enjoy some friendly conversation or harmless flirtation.

Overall experience: Described by a local user as “addictive” but it’s easy to get burnt out. Tinder can be very entertaining. You can chat with new people, block them if it gets out of hand, or maybe even run into some old friends or flames and reconnect.  After about a week it seems to get old, which will likely lead you to delete the app or simply stop signing on. Definitely give it a try! Some like it, some don’t, check it out for yourself! And be sure to let me know if it worked for you.

Look out for next weeks article highlighting another great dating app and our first review on Lulu.
