I know what you’re all thinking, can the day really be romantic enough for a date… The answer is absolutely yes. When it comes to dating, there are tons of places to go and things to do, but they so often revolve around the later hours. Lets bring dating back into daylight, you’ll surprise your love with something out of the ordinary and maybe it’ll even continue into the wee-hours of the night.
Here are a few ideas:
Hiking, Biking, Skiing for the outdoorsy type. Show your man that you can beat him in a race up a mountain, or down the slopes. Have a picnic along the way, or slip into the lodge for a hot drink and a chance to warm up against your honey.
Brewery Tour for those of you lucky enough to live in beautiful Colorado, we have an endless supply of local breweries. Take a tour, taste some great local beer, and if you really like one buy a 6-pack and bring it home for the two of you to share.
Roller Rink for those who like to kick it old school. Surprise your lady with the slick skating skills, she never knew you had from the years of hockey you never told her you played. It’s fun, it’s romantic with all those couples holding hands, it’s dark so don’t be shy about leaning in for a kiss. Most of all, it’ll be a great time whether you’ve never tried before or you’re an expert.
Museums or Galleries are a great option for anyone. When was the last time you actually went to the great museum in your city? I know we all go when we’re in a place we’ve never been, so why not go to the one right next door. See some art, learn a little bit of history, and impress your date with some additional knowledge of something you see like a specific painting, or era.
Now that you’ve got a couple ideas, it’s time to make the call. Your date will be surprised and impressed by your drive to do something different, and will be just as excited for the date as you are.
