Fun Date Ideas For Fall

Young couple throwing autumn leaves

Most of you are probably sick of the typical ‘dinner and a movie’ date. Well, you’re in luck! Fall is all about changing things up! Here are some ways you can spice up your love life while enjoying this lovely season:

Take a Weekend Getaway to the Mountains: I know, it’s not ski season yet, but this simple fact grants you hotels for about half the price (most of us could save a little money, right?). Vacationing in the fall also allows you to enjoy just about every non-snow activity the mountains have to offer. You can ride the gondolas, hike, bike, shop, raft and explore the town while being surrounded by the most amazing trees in beautiful fall colors.

Around Halloween, Do Something Spooky: This could range from taking a historic ghost tour of your town to holding each other as creepy creatures, ghosts and goblins jump out at you in a haunted house. Yep, an easy excuse to get close to your lover.

Make Candy Apples: Go grocery shopping and grab some apples, caramel and any kind of candy that strikes your sweet tooth. All you have to do is melt the caramel, cover your apples in the sweet, sticky mess and cover them with your candy. Be creative and have fun with it!

Go to a Football Game Together: If you both enjoy football and root for the same team, this idea will work wonders for your relationship. However, if one of you is crazy obsessed while the other would rather stick a gun to their head, then I’d suggest you choose from one of the other date ideas.

Last but not least….

Make a Pile of Leaves and Jump in it!: If you have fun doing this with your partner, you’re a match made in heaven! This might sound simple and silly, but if you can connect while doing the little things in life, you’re in for a fulfilling relationship.
